Tune Tranny AE/TCC with TP?
Getting closer to driving the IROC. 88 auto 305 tpi stock
I have been tuning with TP and working well but my speedo and tach were broken. So I think much of my tune was only at idle/park once I drove with no speedo feedback it was very lean
now it starts up idles fine runs well at idle and low RPM like 128-130 BLM at higher TP and LV8 i get some retard and runs in the 131 but still better then 134 from past
I will lower the fuel constant slightly to get fuel across the board. But the car feel liek it is not shifting into gears under load at right time. lockup?
SO I suspect since I am TP in the 1-4volt range I am hitting AE/PE ranges so that can explain the lean condition as well since I did not touch those yet just MAF tables and idle.
I will play with AE/PE I can see that result with TP pretty easy but what am I looking for with the tranny? I see TCC but what should I be looking for in TP or what should I be feeling when I drive?
And for AE/PE what are simple tips to tune 1 then the other. effectively lock out in TP? I am using $6E

Re: Tune Tranny AE/TCC with TP?
Just looking for quick tips on best way to dial in AE/PE and how to test for TCC tune with TP. Is there a way to monitor TP vs Speed or RPM to look for shift etc

Re: Tune Tranny AE/TCC with TP?
My speedo cable was broken once I fixed it the ECM sees the speed
And that is when the Blm and car felt a little better too.
But trying to figure out best way to tune in ae pe with te tcc if possible in tuner pro
