Engine: lt1 intaked 355 makin 277 on 25 psi of fuel pressure and stock timing :)
Transmission: A4 stock... that moved a mobile dyno a foot shifting into 2nd :)

gauge fuse keeps blowing

ok here is the deal when i race my car and hold high rpm's for an extended periopd of time the gauge fuse will blow...... was out at the local street races and was racing a SLOWBRA and i juiced the car after the race my gauges didnt work and my car wouldnt idle? can any1 help me with this problem?

Mine does the same exact thing once in awhile. It started doing it ever since I swapped in my new tranny 2 weeks ago. I'm led to believe it's the pink wire (I think) off the distributor that gives the tach signal that is somehow shorting out or getting hot and blowing the fuse. It sucks because when it does blow I lose torque converter lockup. The EGR ties into this circuit so that probably explains your bad idle.

Sorry this doesn't really help, but TTT anyway...maybe someone will have a better answer.
