As I was taking off my old exhaust manifold on the passenger side I broke the connection to a sensor. I took the sensor out and let all the coolant out. The sensor is in the middle of the block(or the head, not sure) underneath the exhaust manifold. There is a pin that goes into the sensor, I think it is the coolant temperature sensor. The pin goes into the sensor but it will not stay in. Does anyone know what sensor this is and how I can fix it? I really need some help I did a search and couldn't really get a clear answer. It should be the fan switch. Unfortunatly I don't think that there is a way to fix it. You'd be better off just replacing it anyways! This switch is almost like a temp sensor except that it is used to turn the fans on at a specific temp. Hope that helps.
