Alpine alarm users, please enter

I've got an Alpine 8440(kind of old, I know), and just found a disconnected wire I must not have originally hooked up. Yellow w/ blue stripe, my wiring diagram from an 8040 says it's the warning chirp output(-). Where do I wire this? Through a relay to the siren? Elsewhere? Thanks in advance.

Does that model have a two wire siren wire? If so I know that some of the older alpines actually used this wire as a acc pulse ie... to roll up windows if some one trigers the pre warn. Unfortunatly the first series that i first started installing was the 8027 the year after yours. Let me know or I will ask my old boss to look in the old install books as to what it is.

What do you mean, two wires? I've had this alarm installed for a few years now, I've had the warning chirp work and the siren has never given me any hassle. When I took everything apart a few weeks ago, I noticed this wire hanging loose out of a harness. It was installed by a friend, he figures he just forgot to hook it up. The local audio place tells me it's optional and used for something like a pager. I haven't had good luck with them though, so I want someone else's opinion. I don't like to have wires hanging disconnected.
