Want to install original fog light switch with aftermarket fog lights--have question?

want to install an original fog light switch with my aftermarket fog lights. I was looking at the original switch and it has 4 connectors on the back. The switch supplied with my fog lights only has three wires going to it. What is the purpose of the fourth connector on the original and can I still use it with my after market fog lights??

I think its for your indicator lamp on the switch that lights up when your foglights are on.should be able to use it.try disconnecting wires 1 at a time & see what they work.I have aftermarket fog lamps also with a factory switch.indcator lamp(symbol) works w/hdlamps,whether fogs are on or not. Then theres the 2nd lamp thats only on when your fog lights are on.
