Car: 91 Firebird Engine: 305 Transmission: auto | hmm thats the problem. id love to get rid of it but i dont know how. see what apparently happened was that the pink wire that goes to the steering column/ignition cylinder burnt because i see melted sheathing so he wired this switch up wich connects hot to the the red wire that connects to the fuse block for everything that is supposed to power up when you turn the key to on. it seems to make sense but i dont get why it is melting. i put an inline fuse in wire coming from hot. strangley, the fuse melts on the opposite side, the side that is drawing the amps. if i installed a relay, wouldnt that melt also? what could be drawing so many amps? thank you TekViper!
