Car: 91 Camaro RS Engine: 350 Transmission: 700R-4 | power distribution been looking over the new section for wiring diagrams, and I was trying to figure out how to read these. My question is, if I were to connect the alternator to nly the battery and not run it through the starter first (like GM does) does that also mean that my power distribution won't be run from the starter any longer (internal lights etc) Cause I would think that if it no longer sends power back to the alternator from the starter, why can't i just wire the internal lights to run right off of the alternator return power? Cause from what I can tell, the fusible link B from the terminal B on the starter goes to both the alternator and the power distribution.
Thanks alot i think im gettin the hang of this. | | |
