pinout location help

I have unhooked my ac unit and have been running my cooling fan manually , but it's getting old. I have a few left over wires from the tpi swap and i figured i have a few left over since i am not running dual fans which the harness was set up for. The harness was off of an 89' iroc. I can't figure out which wire goes to the fan temp switch on the passengers side lower block. Looking at my old harness the wire looks like it had a ground wire spliced into the wire that went to the sensor, does that sound right? Anyone know what wire comes from the ecm to the sensor or does it run off from the relay?..... I looked on a wiring diagram but be damned if i can find the pinout number or the color of the wire.. Any help will be much appreciated...Thanks

Hello David,

The wire that goes to that fan switch is a single wire and it is black. The knock sensor wire is white.

That would be easy enough, but i don't have a black wire left over, ...I have a light gray wire (p/o D-11)....Dark Green wire (p/o B-8).... Green/White wire (p/o C-1).....and a light blue wire but i traced that and it splices off a wire to the heater controls. Ithink i lost the black wire because i am not using the dual fan harness. Any other ideas??
