Sealed Beam Conversions

Hello All,
Im new to the board. Im wondering if anyone has used or even seen this product: (or any others)
http://www.eurolamps.com/eurolamps/sealedbeams.htm

After driving cars with newer headlamps, the old sealed beams in the Zjust dont seem to cut it.

Thanks
Jeffrey

those are nice if you feel like doing all the wiring. i did it to my iroc's and a buddy's iroc but if you just want white lights that are brighter the silverstars are a sealed beam replacement that have alot better light output than the stockers

For sealed beam replacements, most people I know switched to Cibie -"E" code lamps. These are European lighting pattern and use the separate H-4 bulb.
Hella brand is pretty much worthless as far as quality.
You can check with Daniel Stern lighting. He deals with strictly high quality pieces.

Care to elaborate? This is the first I've heard that Hella is sucky. Daniel Stern has stated in the past that the Hella 165mm is better than Cibie (only the 165mm). Marchal is better than Hella, but is no longer available.

My personal experience with the Hella and Cibie is like this.
I've got Hella (E Code) in 2 vehicles and Cibie(E Code) in 1.
Both sets of Hellas have discoloration and corrosion forming around the perimeter where the glass is bonded to the reflector.
The Cibie's are still as new.
This is over a period of 2 years.
From a light pattern comparison, the Cibie is more distinct ( focused) then either model of the Hella.
I forget the sizing designation, but each vehicle is different.

AM Racer, are you referring to the 4"x6" clear lensed Hella enclosures and the Cibie 4"x6" partially clear lensed enclosures???
