TPI ERG wiring with a Painless 60102

Can anyone tell me how to connect my ERG Valve (87 5.7 GTA TPI motor) ? I am using a Pineless type harness 60102. They offer a emissons harness, however my motor does not have a smog pump so I think that would be a waste of money. All I need to do is get the ERG to work, or at least stay open.

ERG?

do you mean EGR?

why do you want to hook it up?

if it was open all the time, the engine would not idle(huge vac leak)

Yes my mastake EGR

There is a black wire coming off the EGR valve. My wire harness "Painless 60102" does not have a connection for this.

Will the motor run right with out it connected?
If not I will have to connected it. I'm not sure how to wire it
