my headlight isnt working

k im not sure if this is the exact place to put this but its a start. at first i thought it was the motor but i bought a used one from the junkyard to if it would work. it didnt but then i pluged it into the otherside and it work like new! i checked to see if it was getting power and its only get a little. can anyone help me?

Either damaged wire or the headlight module. It's the square electronic device near the windshield wiper motor with two plugs on it.
