Well, some of you might have seen my other post where I put up a picture of all of the finished gauges in the car. Anyway, one of the problems that I have is that the needle for the fuel level gauge has fallen below the stop and will not read. Because of this, I am unsure of my fuel level. I didn't have much gas in the car to begin with, but I still think that this will hinder the gauge operation. Here is the pic.... Has this happened to anyone? How do I go about fixing it? I don't feel comfortable taking the gauge apart to *attempt* to repair it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Paul Moore

call autometer, mine has never "jumped" that even when i've pulled the drain plug out of the tank and let all the gas out.

UPDATE!!!!

Just in case this ever happens to anyone, there is something that you can do to get the needle back to where it needs to be. All you have to do is take the gauge and turn it so that the face is pointing down. This lets the needle *hang* by the gauge lens, and then you use a magnet and put it near the face and move the magnet where you want the nedle to go. The needle is magnetic, and follows the magnet. That's how I got it to go back to where it needs to be, so if anyone else has this problem you know how to fix it.
