Survey says: headlight switch or relay problem?

Everything works except my headlights, hi and low. Interior lights, instrument panel backlight etc etc all work fine. My hi-beam indicator light in my dash lights up when I try and turn my headlights on. Is it definately the headlight switch or could it be the relay? Not looking forward to taking apart my instrument cluster to pull that stupid switch.

I was hoping so, since I didn't think the hi-beam indicator would stay dimly lit if it was a switch problem.

Headlight relay.....passenger side of engine compartment?

Well my problem is definately the relay, you can hear/feel it click but the headlights don't come on. Bosch #25525638

The AC Delco equivalent looks to have a different prong configuration then the one I pulled when I looked it up on their site.

Anyone know the AC delco part number for 87 TPI camaro headlight relay? pep boys was less than helpful as usual. The guy had 2 different relays listed, neither of which he had in stock (3-5 day special order) and you can't return special orders, so with my luck he'd order me the wrong one which wouldn't work and I can't return.

So I got a relay from autozone: Hella #25526984

exact same prong configuration, same exact number on each prong. No go.

My old relay is clicking when I pull the headlight knob out, but nothing is happening. The hi-beam indicator just dimly stays lit. The new relay clicks as well, but no headlights. Any ideas what the problem could be?
