| Firebird Headlight Door Motor Issue? In all the Third-Gens I've had I have never had a headlight motor go bad. As shocking as that it, it is true. On my new '92 TA the drivers side seems to be going out. When I turn the parking light switch on, the headlight doors come up but the headlights don't light. They do light as sson as I turn put the switch in "head" position. When the doors come down the drivers motor keeps running for a few seconds even though the door is down.
If I unplug the Door Control Module and reset it's memory then the next time I hit the "park" position the everything works fine. But as soon as I run the headlights up and down again, it starts to act up.
Has anyone had anything like this happen? Is it the motor going out and throwing the module into some default mode or is it actually the module?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
