110mph speedometer to 145 mph speedoemter swap from a 90-92 Z28

I know we had this subject before, but i didn't get one thing i am sure it will plug wright in and work, but will it read correct how fast or slow am i goin for example if i be goin 30 mph the new speedometer will be showin 60 mph, because the speedometer i have on my 92 Camaro Rs is 110 mph, my original speedometer mph numbers are bigger and more spread out then 145 mph speedometer u know how it is on a 90-92 Camaros, how can i make this new speedometer read correct mph? Thank u guys for advices, i hate havin a 110 mph speedometer on a V8 Camaro

Its a direct swap, you dont have to change anything else. If your current speedo works correctly, the new one will too. The speedo signal comes from the tranny, goes to the ECM, then to the speedometer. It will adjust itself.
