turn signal flasher

I have a '92 RS and I think I need to change the turn signal flasher, when the lights are off and I turn on my blinkers they dont blink, they just stay on. When the lights are on and I turn on my blinkers, the fronts dont do anything and the backs just stay on. Hazards work fine. What does the flasher look like in a '92 Camaro ad where can I find it?

Are both the left and right turn signals doing this or just one side? The reason I ask is if just one side it's usually a bad bulb. The turn signal flasher,if your '92 is the same as my '83 is located in a convienence center to the right of the steering column(horn relay and key/headlight buzzer is there too).It drops down similar to the fuse box but you have to remove the whole underdash panel.Just FYI the hazard flasher is just to the left of this next to the steering colmn.

Since it's both left and right, it probobly is the flasher. The directional flasher for my '92 is secured by a clip mounted to the steering column bracket under the dash - just above the convenience center (fuse panel). The hazard flasher is over next to the center console.

That's great you got them working.I knew there were wiring changes after '88.And on the locations of the flasher units in your '92 they moved other items around.

Re: turn signal flasher

I'd try replacing the bulb first.
