any advice on blower motor installation
im goin to be installing a blower motor tomarrow. has anybody done this? any advice on what not to do? i would like this to go as smooth as possible with no delay. its simple but its buried behind alot of stuff. its a 92 rs with a 305 with most of the emissions removed. any help would be appreciated.

hedman long tubes.
true duals dumping at the rear

4 bolt main 350, stock rebuild.
60cc H.O 305 heads.
holley 670 street avenger carb
mallory 4309 afpr
crane solid lift .585/585 cam
lunati solid lifters.
stock valvetrain.


still needs a 3000 stall, and steeper rear end gears.
stock 700r4 ripping the tires from the street as she shifts into second.

It's pretty straight forward.Just don't drop any screws.Use some rtv around it to seal it and you should be fine.i"ve done it on both my firebird's and the vette.

Stuff a towel or rag below the motor or you'll lose a screw.

haha ya, straight forward.lol. did you encounter having a problem with getting the old wheel(fan) off the motor? i did. plus, the old motor was splined, and the new one wasnt, so some modding came into play(consisted of a lighter, a screwdriver and a socket,lol) installation went great, removal went great too. just the wheel was the problem, auto zone didnt offer a replacement for the new motor, so i HAD to make it fit. thanks for the help tho, no screws lost or nuttin!lol
