fuse keeps blowing

The fuse for my hazzards and brake light keeps blowing! I changed it three times and it kept blowing. I'm suspecting a short somewhere... anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong or if it's happened to anyone at all?

sounds like ground

If your putting the fuse in and it blows right away, the power wire is probably grounding out somewhere. this happened on my wiper fuse, it was grounding right where the hood release is behind that plastic kick panel because there is a bundle of wires that makes a shard turn right against metal and it chaffed right through. Its worth a look...

Check all the bulbs - front and rear. I had the same problem and it turned out to be a rusty front turn signal bulb socket that still worked. The thing that made me check it out was the fact that the bulb seemed dim compared to the other side... go figure! Changed the buld and all my problems magically disappeared.

trouble shoot it by pulling one bulb at a time until the problem goes away. When it doesnt blow the fuse you will have the right wire. Check the length of the wire for any spots where it could ground and tape...
