what are these wires behind the climate control panel?

Hi,

I keep blowing my 5A INST fuse and I'm trying to diagnose the problem. I found three wires behind the climate control panel. One red, one yellow, and one black. Each has the last 1/2 inch stripped and bare. They are just hanging there not connected to anything. I have included a picture of the yellow and black wire below. The red wire is just behind the control panel. The guage is probably 20-22

Anyone know where these wires should go? Could these be causing my fuse problems?

Additional Information:
All of the climate control functions seem to work.
The cd player is aftermarket.

Thanks
John

John, Replying to what I can see, it looks to me like the yellow one is a memory wire, unless you hooked up your radio with an installation harness and nothing was cut installing the radio. and that is probably why your poping your dash lights. The only way I can think off is check a repair manual and look in the wiring diagrams and trace from one end to the other and find out where that is coming from. Because GM likes to loop everything, so that yellow is 12v and the blk is gound and that wht one could be a neutral.
