Car: 1986 Iroc-Z Engine: 305 TPI Transmission: T-5 Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi | Help with wiring an exhaust cutout Alright, So I have an electric exhaust cutout that I need to finish wiring. When I got the cutout, I didnt have a switch and it was around $30 to get a switch from the cutout company. (I bought the cutout from a friend who lost he switch). I decided to go the cheap route. I bought a momentary switch and attempted to wire the cutout up. But I need a way to alternate a ground to either wire of the cutout. (its just like a power window motor, 2 wires going into the cutout) A friend of mine told me that I should put a relay on each wire to prevent a constant ground and a short. I have two relays that I could use but I dont know how I should wire them. Both of them are 20/30 amp relays with five poles. (85,87a,87,86,30) The switch I have has three poles (acc, power, acc) How would I wire the relays to work or my cutout? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
