Turn signal problem

I am having a strange problem with the turn signals in an 89 Iroc Convertible. When you hit the turn signal lever the front flashes one side and the inside on the cluster flashes one side but at the rear tail light both sides flash.Just like if you had the hazzards on.Any ideas what to look for?

Re: Turn signal problem

If the same behavior applies to both sides, even with the lights on, and if the hazard signals work flawlessly, then the problem is in the turn signal switch itself.

Hope this helps.
