MSD 6AL Wiring

hey guys i bought a msd 6al box, and i was wondering if instead of buying the harness(P/N8876), if anyone has just wired up their own. i dont see it being hard since all the plugs you need are all there, and its a good way to save 40 bucks.

You can do that if you want. The harness just makes it easier to bypass the box and run stock ignition again if something goes wrong.

If it doesn't work check the harness. I got 2 bad ones ended up hardwiring it. made 2 jumpers in case I need to bypass it. Dave

I bought the harness, simplest MSD-6AL install I've ever done, and worked right off the bat.
