Wiring Harness?

Well my old LG4 developed a knock(more like a machinegun knock) but anyway i am putting in a 350 carb'd and would like to eliminate as much electrical wiring in the engine bay while keeping my power windows and audio equipment (stereo and stuff)so any help and wiring diagrams would be very much appreciated!

Re: Wiring Harness?

Both of you might want to visit this site and look at the wiring diagrams there. Look at the Figures for the different engines to see the ecm, sensor, and engine wiring. The figures for body wiring have the light, AC/Heat pwr accessories, etc.

they have a set of diagrams for each model year.....

Re: Wiring Harness?

The best source for wiring diagrams is the Service Manual. I doubt that anyone will scan all the diagrams and post them. My 82 Camaro manual has about 80 pages for the wiring diagrams. Yes they are much more detailed than those on the link I posted.

You can look on ebay for a used manual or visit http://www.helminc.com. The manuals on Helms can cost a few $$. The 86 Fierbird manual runs $75. The 88 version runs $105. The site did not list a service manual for an 87 Fierbird.
