91 speedo cable driven or electric?

is a 91 speedo cable driven or is it electrical? i want to swap in a 145 speedo but people say that you need a cable driven speedo.

its electrical, you'll only find the 145mph gauges from the 91-92 5.7 litre z28's

I bought an electric 145 MPH speedo and cluster from a member on here. Easy swap to do, all I did was swap the PC board (the PC board in the lower right hand corner) from the tach of my factory cluster to the the new cluster. All is good.
