So, i recently purchased an 89 Iroc-Z witih 142k miles on it, it's in damn good condition compared to the other cars I've seen it's age, and runs like a dream. I've been thinking about what I want to do with it (since as far as im concerned now, im never getting rid of it) and I dont like that the speedometer only goes to 115... I know this car is capable of way more than 115... So i got to thinking and i remebered how awesome the digital dash in my dad's 88 turbo charged LeBaron was, and I thought, hey, I would LOVE a digital dash. Well, i knew about the 'star wars' dash the berly's had, but I'd never seen one before. The hunt for a picture begins. A week later, I found a site all about berlinettas, and i got my first glimpse of their digital dash. I'm in love with it. Now, I've done abit of searching for a thread on Thirdgen that details the work, and expense of swapping out the berly dash to an iroc, or if it can even be done. So far my search is fruitless. If some one could direct me to a source or a thread detailing this swap, or even give me info in this thread it would be much appreciated.

I'm not sure about easier, but def. way way cooler. That dash is sorta like the C4 Corvette cluster. Additionally, it has a systems diagnosis module that tells you when a light is out, when fluids are low doors/trunk is open, etc. The only downside to this though is you have to get the whole dash, heater bos, underhood harness, and perhaps the engine harness to swap it. If your car has TPI it may be easier since all GTAs has TPI. In addition, if you decide to use the system status display, you will need a washer bottle and coolant bottle as those had sensors in them to watch the level. It would be pretty bad @$$ though.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! I absolutely love the Dakota one, wonder if it can be modded to have red lights? At anyrate, that is probably what im going to go with. Once again, thanks all...
