Need help with wiring "Seatbelt" light...

Recently I've had some issues with my seatbelt light coming on at random. Searching through the threads I figured out it was an issue with the blue box in the (in)convenience center. But also while reading through threads, I read someone used the fasten seatbelt light as a nitrous armed indicator... Which I think would be a killer idea, specially for a hidden system. Does anyone know if there is a way to control the light aside from removing the blue box in the conv center? There has to be a wire in the red circle (below) that regulates its 12v or ground? Also, can the rest of the "indicator spots" on the dash can be utilized (red arrows)?

Thanks in advance...

The seatbelt signal comes to the "chime module" through a black wire, to pin E. It's just a simple switched ground (grounded with seatbelt off).
The chime module drives the yellow wire (12V on pin G) to light up the Seat Belt Indicator lamp in the dash.

Hope this helps.

Re: Need help with wiring "Seatbelt" light...

so does that mean if I cut the yellow wire and apply 12v it will light up? (and ground the black wire?)

Also, I disconnected the black connector on the actual seat belt retractor, should I just constantly ground that, and selectively apply 12v to yellow wire?
Thanks

Re: Need help with wiring "Seatbelt" light...

well, I figured it out. I just cut the yellow wire and gave it 12v and it lights up. Not really sure where the ground is, but the 12v lights it up. I'm going to hook it up to my NOS system tomorrow...//hcr

This is the [in]convenience center... Take the bottom hushpanel off (the big plastic piece above the pedals) and you should see it toward the back of the radio area... if somehow you can't find it, put the key in and open the door so you hear the chime... the big blue plastic thing is what makes the chiming noise... good luck
