Engine: 5.7 Vortec w/ LT4 Hot Cam

Transmission: T-5

Axle/Gears: 3.23 Posi, stock rear end

No pulse from Yellow Tach wire

I just put a Holley Pro-jection 4D 900 cfm kit on my 86 IROC. It starts but will not idle. Everything checks out, except I'm getting 7.4 volts at the yellow tach wire. I had a friend hook up a machine and it was not getting a pulse. What can I do to fix this or get around this?
