Infl rest light

I know infl rest light is connected with not working airbag. Im quite sure, mine is deployed and not present, even the steering wheel looks as new. Probably was changed for a duplicate without airbag. The infl rest light is on most of the time, but sometimes the light is blinking. The alternator is new, the battery gauge behave normal all the time. It can be caused by some bad connection or some kind of instability at electric system of the car? for help

Re: Infl rest light

Wow, welcome all the way from the land of beer and pretty girls!!
I haven't seen a Czech member here before.

Do you want to replace the steering wheel with the correct one with an airbag?

Or would you rather disable the airbag system? You can disable the whole system, even remove it from the vehicle but the warning light will stay on. The only way to make it turn off is to remove the lightbulb from the instrument cluster.

Hope this helps.
And long live Cimrman!
Lou
