Car: 1986 Transam/1996 Trans AM Engine: 5.7 LT1 .030 over Transmission: Borg-Warner T-56 6 speed Axle/Gears: 3.42 | Auto vs Manual Vehicle Speed Sensor I have an 87 Pontiac Transam that originally came with a 305ci and a Non-World Class T-5 manual, the speedometer worked perfectly with this setup, I took off the T-5 and put in a 700r4 from an 89 Formula also with a 305 TBI I had to cut the wires that connected to the speed sensor because they were different, same color though, after this my speedo didnt work, my question is that do I have a bad VSS sensor or I have something else wrong?. One more thing I already changed that little yellow box behind the glovebox on the passenger side where those wires from the VSS sensor lead to and still nothing.
Thanks, Any help is greatly appreciated.
