Power Window Motor Rebuild...maybe?

Well, I after buying junk motor after junk motor from the junk yards, I figured instead of constantly trying to screw around with used parts which might work I would just rebuild one. Well here are some pics of the start. I know Vader says to just remove the cap, but I wanted to get a little deeper than that to ensure that this will be my last time messing with these things. From the pics I can see the gears are all good, no cracking etc. The motor itself, who knows, I just dont see how this part could go bad. Then again, im no electronics expert by any means. What I did notice are the brushes seem to be kinda worn? How long or how much material is supposed to be on these things? Also where might I find brushes like this? Im going to try Radio shack tomorrow and see what they have. After completely disassembling this unit, I then realized....how in the hell am i going to get it back together? The largest Rivet I have is 1/4, Im not sure bolts would do it in this case as they might rattle apart in time. If anything, heres a free view of the inside of our window motors, courtesy of my stupidity lol!!
