I know the top on works the brake lights and cruise.
What's the other switch do? Original auto car if it matters.
I broke mine, guessing it's not something I can get at the parts store.
Original auto car if it matters.
If the wire color is Yellow off of the switch, it's for the High-mount stoplamp. Is probably a dealer item. If CHMSL is inop, you can splice yellow wire into one of the other stop lamp bulb wires off of the stop lamp switch.
The brake light switch is a separate switch. I believe there might also be another plug in it...but its the one without the hose.
The switch with the vac hose and plugs is for cruise. Right now, with my T56/LS1 swap, Im ONLY running the brake light switch with the one plug in it. Thats it. Everything works 100%. If I wanted to finish hooking up the 4th gen cruise, Ide use a thirdgen cruise switch and just not hook up the hose.
As far as I know...the Torque Converter lock up uses the brake switch signal. But I never messed with the auto stuff long enough to learn it.

If it's a 3rd brake light you should be able to turn your key to the on position (but not running) and then press the switch by hand. Have someone stand behind the car and see which lights you turn on.
