Seqential Turn Signal, Round #4

OK...I have a list of names of people who already expressed interest & theirs will be shipped first. Basically, their orders will be "bumped to the front of the line" for shipping.

But, I'm not expecting any problem running out. All orders will be filled regardless, don't worry about nobody getting theirs. I can promise you.

These will fit ANY car. Not just 3rd gens. They are built as Universal units. As long as you have 2 or 3 bulbs per side, they'll work. Like Impala SS, Caprice,....Even Mustangs. They'll work.

Shipping in the lower 48 states is included....$56 and I take Paypal at:
No credit card funded Paypal payments please.

SteveCranford@Austin.RR.com

or PM me for a mailing address, to send a M.O. to. No personal checks please.

I can ship International or to Alaska/Hawaii, but PM me with your address, for a shipping quote.

UNIVERSAL.....They'll fit ANY car, with 2 or3 bulbs per side. For Camaros, you'll wanna do the amber to red lens conversion & run all red tail lights, which is 100% legal to do, in all states.

Please read my first post....Parts of that are in there.

Yes, wire cutting & splicing is needed. Chassis wires to the STS unit, then the lights are hooked up to the STS. It converts the 1 signal into 3 flashes, in sequence.

Re: Seqential Turn Signal, Round #4

As Stephen said, his first post explains it all, including payment.

As for the installation, the units come with detailed instructions on which wire to cut, which wire to splice into etc. If you are capable of splicing wires, this would be no problem to install. I've done a few units myself already.

On a Camaro, though (as Stephen pointed out), you'd have to modify the tail lights a little (amber to red etc) and also make a slight wiring modification under the steering column.

If you feel like this should be easy for you, then we'd LOVE to see STS on a Camaro!

Lou

Sorry....I don't accept credit card funded Paypal transactions, due to the fees imposed by Paypal.

You are welcome to transfer money into your account, then pay again, or mail in a MO.

Thanks....I keep wanting to get a 110AC to 12DC converter & mount a spare set of my GTA lights up, on my wall inside the house. Run the hazards 24/7 & see how long it takes until a STS unit dies.

Please.....Please do not things you do not know. Don't tell Camaro owners they can't have this, when they most certainly can have it.

I've sold STS to Camaros before & had happy people.

Apparently you don't understand....

This is simply a CONTROL BOX to me ANY lights light sequentially. It'll hook up to YOUR STOCK taillights.

Hook up this box to your stock lights & it makes them flash sequentially.

I got some guy riding around on the outside of a helicopter. I looked lower down on the page and found the videos for the sequential flasher. Thanks it is good to see what I'm getting though I won't be installing it until the spring of 2009. Is there some way to change the speed that turn signals are flashing?

A slower flasher is another project that is underway.

The flasher controls the speed, the STS units only control the distribution to the bulbs.

Only 1 has bowed PM'd me back of no longer having interest....
69 having bought units...
And 1 working on sending the $.

I held off selling to others to give those who said they wanted units a chance, then I hear nothing back from them....

In any case...It's wide open now. The time I told them I'd wait has expired & now it is first paid, first shipped.

Got it this morning & ship on Mondays, so I'll be shipping 4 STS units today, including yours.

Re: Seqential Turn Signal, Round #4

10 total shipped this round so far...I shipped 4 out today...

EightTfourTA
Jason of Silver Spring, MD.....You didn't include your TGO screen name so......
SIEB77
Gambit69

That leaves 10 units to sale, as they are built in batches of 20.

Re: Seqential Turn Signal, Round #4

Well I go mine on Nov 29th Saturday. Mine looks different then the one in the picture or maybe I just think mine is different. Since the picture is from the top of the green connectors. Anyway it looks great and I won't get it installed until the spring of 2009. One question when I press on the brake pedal my brake lights are going to flash. Like if I turned on the 4 way flashers? Well there is a way to fix this by hooking it up to the front turn signal wires, that I read in the instructions. It's all good though. I always like the sequential turn signals on those older Ford T-Birds. Made those T-Birds unique. Just like my GTA will be. Looking at the other picture, I see it is exactly the same. My bad. Are there anymore pictures of STS being installed or more pictures of what it looks like in the car? Just wondering how people had there's hooked up inside there car?

Yours is exactly the same. Only different ones are the first 3, which had black connectors instead of green.

And no.....The Hazards will, but your Brakes will not continuously flash. They will light in sequence just like a a turn signal, but all 3 will stay lit until the pedal is released.

Re: Seqential Turn Signal, Round #4

Stephen, just curious as to what shipping method that you use. Do you ship through the mail or do you use something like UPS?

theimpaler68, where do you get the dual filamet sockts from? I have an 89 formula that I am putting in the gta tail lights on the car and I believe that I need to put in the extra dual filamet socket as well. If you could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

I ship via USPS & have never had a problem with any yet.

As for the sockets.....You didn't think I wouldn't have this covered in the instructions?

Dorman #85867 Pep Boys always seemed to have some. Autozone was the worst I've seen about having them. Or Rockauto.com has them as well. Pretty much any parts supplier has or can get them, if they carry Dorman..

Those are the only in-process install pics I have, That is FYRCHKENs car as it was being installed in his car.

And mine is the total prototype devolpment unit & about twice as big as the STS units. So no pics of it either.
