A few silly electrical questions... 1991 rs

Hello, first post to these boards. I just had a couple silly little questions I ran into last night while replacing some fuses on a 1991 camaro rs. First, one of the fuse sockets won't hold a fuse, I'm guessing I can just disconnect the battery and disconnect it out of there and fix it with a knife or something to get the socket tightened up. Anyone have any input on this?

And most importantly... I went looking for the turn signal flasher relay because mine aren't flashing... I found it on the right side inside the lower dash next to the steering wheel. Problem is... it's not there!! Anyone know what a suitable replacement would be for this so I can pick it up on my way home from work because right now the turn signal lights stay on steady. Thanks!

Re: A few silly electrical questions... 1991 rs

Welcome to TGO.

Some of the fuse positions are vacant and will not take or need a fuse. Make sure that the metal female recepticles are present in the fuse block.

The flasher is available at most parts stores.

Good luck
