where is the wiper delay relay

hi, i'm restoring a 1984 trans am and the wipers won't work on the delay settings. so, i went to the auto parts store and they sold me a delay relay. which i can't find any where on the car. can anyone help me? its a retangleular plastic relay with a metal bottom with some pins on it and a red crimp style wire on the one end, thats what came up on their computer for the car. all the relays that i found don't look like this one, any help would be helpful. thanks tim

OH RELAY !

The delay circuit is contained in the wiper motor.

You do not need that relay for your car.
