If you wanna half*** the job, wire both of them to an ignition switch on. In other words, when you turn the key to "on position" the two leads become "hot" and begin to power your fan and fuel pump. but this method can only be used as an emergency method. There should be another way. But havent you ever noticed when someone turns on theyre Ford Ranger, the distinct whirling sound that comes from the rear under the bed, thats the fuel pump turning on. That should work for you in the mean time. also you can install a rocker switch to manually turn on and off the fan. Remember, these are just a quick fix. You may want to reconsider your options, Half*** or done correctly. And with these wierd gas prices, TPI is the way to go, you'll get better gas milage but youll have to break your head trying to put the wiring back together. good luck!
