Is the motor running but the latch doesn't pull down? If that's the case you probably have a stripped or broken gear in your motor assembly. You may only need a new gear but if you need a complete motor assembly we have them available on our site.

Take the "ACC" wire out of your radio and run it back.
It only comes on when the key is on.
Call me crazy, but it just may work.

Is the latch stuck closed? Or is the motor not pulling the down, to reach the latch?
If the motor is down, you can unplug it to leave it down & just use the key to open the latch.
If the motor is stuck UP, you can get it down manually, unplug it, then use the key.
Either way, that'll get you moving again.

The hatch just does not close....no motor noise and it does not lock down, when i push it down it just fly's right back up.

Re: Rear Hatch Wont Shut
Have you physically unlocked it, from the back, with your key?
It is sounding like the latch is simply closed. Unlock it with your key & see if it'll close then.

I tried using the key to lock it and it just opens right back up so the key hole behind the license plate only opens the latch

From your descriptions, I can't tell if your pull down motor is working,if the latch isn't working, or both.
But it is SOUNDING like a latch problem, not a motor problem, huh?
