Console light wire won't reach

I took out the hatch and passenger window switch so I had room to put the bulb in, but the bulb only reaches to slightly poke through the hole in the console bin. what do I do?

Re: Console light wire won't reach

Did you check to see if it didn't get wound up with the other wires or got caught with something else?

Re: Console light wire won't reach

i agree - there are a lot of wires and metal pieces that stick out that the wire can get hooked up on so just find there it is caught and free it up. and it should run in from the left and not the right side and cross over to the left where the hole is. if its doing that then it's going to be short.

nah it wasn't hung on anything. I put it over the shifter plate though and it got pretty far...but then I realized it was the light for the shifter letters.
