digital gauges, individual leds dying?

Ok this is pissing me off to no end.

i have many aftermarket accessories.

a few that are my problem is my red digital led display for my fuel pressure

and my digital led display for my tire pressure

both devices have an led dead so a number in the display is not complete

this is my second fuel pressure gauge when this has hapened ususally 2months in a led goes then i have teh company sned me a new one im tired of doing this i jsut want stuff to work.

the tire guage is the first one so far.

but what cause an indvidual led to die in a display?

id like to know so i can help avoid it maybe.

this has never happened to anyone with digital accessories?
