The clutch starter safety switch is separate from the cruise switch.
The starter switch is at the bottom stroke of the clutch pedal and uses very thick wires (it carries the current that actuates the starter solenoid).
The clutch disengage switch for the cruise control is on top of the travel of the pedal, just like the brake pedal switches.
If your year/model does not have the vacuum line or the bleedoff on the brake switch, I wouldn't worry about it.
The clutch disengage switch is the same as the brake switch for the cruise control, they are both NC contacts. If you're adding it to the existing harness, you'll need to wire them up in series so that EITHER of them can interrupt the circuit.

Hope this helps.
