they have the tables that tell you what code your vats is, all you need is a multi meter to check the key out its super easy. the key is about 2/3 less than gm and you dont have to pay them $20 to stick your key in a machine that tell the code on the key i have gotten 2 extra sets of keys (door and ing) on ebay and they are original GM keys to
when they arrive take them to your local hardware store to get them cut
i think i paid 20 for 1 ing and 1 door key (black plastic head GM) shipped to me
but as tom said the are around $40 at the stealership and they also want to charge to read the key code
i dont know about you tom, but my local locksmiths wanted to rape me on the keys and im not sure they were GM parts
