Wierd Dash Lights, Blinkers & Gauges Problem. Need advice.
I searched around and couldnt find much with my particular problem. I have a 1986 Firebird. It has been converted to a 350 carbed engine and the gauges worked fine when I bought the car with the swap earlier this year. After finishing bodywork and putting in a new interior none of my gauges work and none of the dash lights work. I didnt mess with any of the wiring. My right blinker indicator bulb stays lit at all times and the left blinker indicator never lights up but the all blinkers function perfect on the outside of the car. Also when I turn the right blinker on my water temp, oil pressure, and volt gauges jump in sync with the turn signal. Maybe I have a wire crossed somewhere? Any ideas? I tried a couple gauge clusters and its the same with all of them.
