Car: 1989 Camaro Engine: 2.8L | car wont start
| I have a 92 camaro rs with a 5.0 v8, I have been having starting issues for a while, the car sometimes wont start then after a bunch of times turning the key and wiggling the shifter it would start. I thought it was the neutral safety switch but I got a new one and I just installed a megashifter and the car was doing the same thing for a couple days, but now the car wont start at all. A friend of mine came over and got the car to start by using a screw driver on the starter, i think he jumped it some how and the car started everytime he did that. But when I try to start it with the key, still nothing. I am stuck and dont know what it could be. Any help would be great. I was told that it might be the ignition switch or a solenoid, but I dont Know how to check them to know which one it is. Thanks | | | |
