aldl fuel pump

Hey guys, quick and probably dumb question for ya. Im trying to diagnose why my car won't start. I am not hearing my fuel pump come on when i turn the key and i read that you can start your pump by applying battery voltage to the G terminal on the ALDL...My question is what and how to apply battery voltage to the G terminal...Thanks guys...sorry if its a dumb question.

STOP FUELING AROUND

I test pumps VIA applying 12 volts to pin E of the fuel pump relay.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

Re: aldl fuel pump

It's the lower left ALDL terminal. You can just run a wire from the positive battery cable to that terminal, but.. it would be smart to have a 20A fuse inline, just in case.

Re: aldl fuel pump

You can jumper 12v from the battery to the fuel pump relay easier and accomplish the same result

Find the relay near the booster with the small red wire sticking out that's not connected to anything. Thats the prime or test lead. Add 12v there and the pump will come on if its in working order and the wiring is intact
