Help with hatch motor

Hey,

The problem I had with my hatch motor was it would run constantly and nothing would happen. Bought a new gear nut and put it on, and now the damn thing doesn't run at all. Honestly, I just pulled it apart without knowing what I was doing, but I think it's all back together correctly. I did take off the motor housing, which I now realize, after reading the guide from TDS, was a bad idea (though I'm not sure why). I have no idea how to troubleshoot electronics, but I do have a good multimeter. Any ideas would be awesome!

Re: Help with hatch motor

I messed around with the motor again and moved it all the way down, so at least my trunk would lock properly. Then when I plugged the power back in, the hatch worked properly and went all the way up. I could hear the reverser switch click. Now it won't go back down. If anyone has had this problem, please help me out with what wires to check, etc.

Thanks
