anyone know what this is for?

almost done with my tpi swap. took this pic before i put the harness in and i still got no idea what its for. its on drivers side. any ideas?

Looks to me like the constant power fuse for the ecm. There should be a female connector on the tpi battery cable for that to plug into.

o ok my harness didnt come with the battery cables so that could be it. i didnt know the battery cables differed from tbi and tpi. thanx alot man ill see if i can find a battery cable off a tpi car. hopefully your right and it has the connector

You're right, its the main power connector and yes TPI cables have it while V6 and TBI cars dont

You can cut the connector off and hook both wires to your power junction block for the harness to work, or get 90-92 TPI cables

awesome thanx for the confirmation. ill probably just cut the connector off like you said itll save me the time of searching for the cable.
