LQ4 stand alone wiring harness

Help! I have a 1987 Trans Am with a 6 litre LQ4 motor with a stand alone wiring harness. Can anyone help me hook fuel pump relay from '87 Trans Am so it'll work?? I can get fuel pump to pump fuel only by hot wiring it. Doesn't work through the relay. Can I use the stock relay or is there an after market relay and pressure switch that I can use to shut off fuel pump? I have one wire coming out of the OBD II that says fuel enable. Where would I hook that up??? I'm clueless. Any info would be appreciated!! Joe

Welcome!

not trying to pass the buck, but you'd probably get a better answer to this one over in the LTx/LSx engine swap section of the forum.

Your fuel pump relay shouldn't have anything to do with the wiring harness itself. All the relay really needs is key on/off power.

IIRC, I don't think the wiring for it, is even in the engine compartment at right, so I dunno why yours would have stopped working.
