Help on troubleshooting the INFL REST light..

Hi, i'm looking for some help on trouble shooting my infl rest light. It blinks then stays on permanently.

The airbag checks visually, doesn't look like its been fired in the past.
The ECU has no fault codes.

is there a procedure for identifying the fault system component?

Any help really appreciated..

Thx..

What method did you use to try to get the ECM to report codes?

Re: Help on troubleshooting the INFL REST light..

I jumped the pins on obd connector and noted the flashing code.

Your method reads FLASH CODES only.

You need to scan the ECM with a computerized code reader to read the HISTORY CODES.

Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look doofy. Turn em off slow pokes.

How bout those nervous nellies too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime or if there is a little rain!
