I have a 1983 camaro 5 spd in which I just installed electronic cruise from an 84 into. I just need to make sure I have everything to make it work. Car doesnt run yet.
I have:
An instrument panel with the yellow vss box in the back of it.
Cruise control harness from the 84 5 spd
Brake relief switch
Computer for the cruise located on pass side behind the dash
Servo unit
Vacuum "ball"
port that goes on top of the intake manifold
Only things I think I am missing are:
Cruise switch for the clutch, is it the same as the brake switch? I have 2 of those. I also have a switch which doesnt have a vacuum nipple on the back. Harness has a connector which I suspect is for the clutch because brake is already in.
VSS for the transmission, the original car never had cruise, just a t5. Do I need to install a VSS for the transmission or are they already built in? Its a cable type speedo.
Thx
