| Re: Alternator Snapped off AC's right; you have to get that pulley off to be able to remove the pump. The mounting bolts are about dead center behind the pulley and there's no way to get at the heads with it in the way. Since its a press fit and its been on there for some time, it will be hard to break it free.
I do find it easier to do the removal while its on the vehicle, only because the bracket will hold the pump in place and allow you a bit more leverage when working with the removal tool
