Fuse Box Question

I bought a new aftermarket fan programmer for my SPAL system that I already had. The new program box comes with an option for an external LED light to light up when the fan is on, and flashes when there is a problem. I am really looking into this because the last fan programmer crapped out and I had no idea that my engine was overheating. It just so happened when I was in the middle of rush hour traffic. The main thing I really need to know is how much voltage is supplied from the accessory in the fuse box, so I can buy a resistor for my LEDs. I don't have a voltometer, and cannot seem to find anything on the internet about it, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Thanks
